Double-firing is a specialized process that brings out sharp colors and contrasts in tiles, offering a wide range of shades, patterns, and tints for designers and consumers. This method involves two firings: first, the tile’s base, then the enamel.
These tiles are created by dry grinding and mixing own-quarried and fire clays, then dampening and compacting them with a hydraulic press. The formed base is then rapidly fired in roller kilns at around 1100 degrees Celsius.
Double-fired tiles are perfect for interior spaces, adding a touch of elegance to kitchens, bathrooms, and work areas.
Glazed porcelain tiles, known for their extreme compactness and near-zero porosity, are produced by pressing. They are made from exceptionally pure, select raw materials, sourced using advanced extraction and sorting methods.
These high-quality porcelain stoneware tiles are created by wet grinding raw materials, partially spray-drying them, unifying their properties in silos, and then compacting them with high-power presses exceeding 500 kg/cm$^2$. A surface glaze enhances these tiles, making them ideal for flooring in homes and public spaces like shops and restaurants.
